ZoomAds Classified Ad Posting Rules
By posting your ad on https://zoomads.co.za/, you accept and must comply with the following conditions:
• You must be 13 years of age or older in order to visit, post, or buy on ZoomAds.
• Please refrain from posting any ads linking back to other systems outside of ZoomAds. The ZoomAds classified website and apps are intended for member-to-member usage. This is not a link farm to other business entities. Any such ads may be removed. This rule is in place to prevent abuse of our classification system. Also, if your item happens to be listed on another platform, please make this obvious in your ad on ZoomAds.
• The text of the ad must mention the product, good, or service you sell, provide, or seek.
• By submitting an ad on ‘https://zoomads.co.za’, you confirm that you have the rights to the images, photos, and video illustrating your ad. When uploading images, images must show the goods or services advertised.
• Ads containing text items (words, phrases, sentences, etc.) that may be counter to legal or regulatory provisions or the rules of publication, or are immoral, strong, and inappropriate languages, or which may offend readers, will be rejected by ‘https://zoomads.co.za‘ without giving rise to any right to appeal our decision.
• The ad must be posted in the category to which the item or service is related.
It may only be entered once.
• The same ad posted in multiple locations will be reviewed by our moderator’s team and subsequently disapproved.
The following are prohibited:
• putting a link to another website in the title and/or description of the ad
• posting an ad asking for private donations or with a humanitarian goal
• posting a missing person notice
• posting an ad related to the adult industry, goods, services, etc.
• posting racist/hateful/offensive comments/titles/descriptions
• posting an ad for an item, good, or service that is regulated or prohibited by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
The following are strictly prohibited on our website and mobile application:
•Tobacco
•Drugs and related items
•Hazardous and illicit substances
•Items and services related to the adult industry
•Firearms, explosives, and hunting traps
•Protected plant and animal species
Duplicate Ads;
Duplicate ads, also called ad repeating or spam ads, are the practice of repeating the same ad over and over by the same user.
We do not encourage duplicate ad posting, as such practice might result in all your ads being removed from ZoomAds and your ZoomAds account suspended. You’re free to post as many free ads as you want on ZoomAds, but it has to be different items or service(s).
Real estate ads;
In our efforts to fight real estate scams and fraud on ZoomAds classified ads, we now require all real estate agents and agencies to use their business email (company email) to register and submit a property listing on ZoomAds.co.za.
We also recommend adding a verifiable link to your real estate company’s website. All property listings that do not comply with the above requirement will have their listing removed from ZoomAds.
Quick, Easy, and Fast Money Schemes and Related Ads;
Please be advised that we do not allow Quick, Easy, and Fast Money-related Ads schemes on ZoomAds; such ads might result in all your listings being removed and your ZoomAds account permanently suspended.
Misleading Ads;
ZoomAds does not encourage misleading, deceptive, fictitious, devious, bogus, and scam-related ads on ZoomAds.co.za.
Such ads will be automatically removed, and the related ZoomAds account will be permanently suspended.
